Emotions
Since the beginning of the 1990s, the Italian volunteers of Operation Mato Grosso, who carry out their action in favor of the localities of the region, have instilled in young people the love of our mountains, making us an important source of work.
In this way we began an original and exciting journey as young farmers, born in small poor towns in the Cordillera Blanca, we learned to look at our mountains with a new vision. We trained professionally at the “School of Don Bosco Guides in the Andes” desired by the OMG and with the support of Italian Alpine guides.
The ancient paths that connect the endless valleys, the great mountains that crown our cities, the Inca trail that can still be traveled by mountain bike, crossing the archaeological remains, have become the framework of our work, guiding those who are passionate about its discovery. .
Some of us have obtained the title of UIAGM guide, others have become trekking or mountain biking guides. Porters and cooks are also part of our group or staff. In our organization, all the trades necessary for any high mountain expedition, trekking and mountain biking are present. In addition to the tours presented here, we organize tailor-made tours for our customers.
